Welcome to Shenandoah Summer Camp!

Our camp centers on community building, mastering outdoor skills, and back to nature basics. We’re often complemented on our scenic setting; our 130 acre campus borders the Shenandoah National Park near Luray, Virginia. The mighty Shenandoah River is at our doorstep. We also have mountains, valleys, waterfalls, opportunities to view wildlife, woods, fields and more at our fingertips. Choosing a summer camp is often an exciting challenge and we make that challenge an easy choice.

Shenandoah Summer Camp distinguishes itself through quality programming and limited enrollment which creates a highly individualized experience for your child. We generally host approximately 45 campers in camp at a time and individual trip groups include 8 to 10 campers. We forge a strong community through shared experiences such as having everyone pitch in at meal time: campers set tables and help wash dishes. All of our participants share the choice to experience Shenandoah Summer Camp which creates a common bond and builds skills and friendships to last a lifetime.

These friends, fun times and fireside chats will be here again soon. As always with a new year comes new adventures; together with our staff, we are excited about continuing the tradition of amazing camp experiences at Shenandoah Summer Camp!
