What Past Campers and Teachers
Thought about Our Camp

During trips to the Mountain Campus, some kids speak up and show themselves much more than in the classroom. We see a different side of kids--and they see a different side of us.

Hanina Goldstein, 3rd grade teacher, Sheridan School, Washington DC

The whole program was well connected, and the curriculum spiraled nicely. I am impressed with the attention to greater safety and the periodic check-ins by the staff.

Thomas L. Thomas, 6th grade teacher, Highland School, Warrenton, VA

It was really dark and scary and cold. There were bats in there, so small that we could hardly see them. When we came out, our clothes looked like we had painted them with mud! Caving was really fun!

Laura Blackwelder, former camper with St. Patrick's School, Washington DC

It was the best camp I have every been to!

Chris Melisi, former camper

I asked Abby after camp how she rated it on a scale of 1-10, and she gave it a 10+! Thanks, Sheridan--you exceeded our expectations!

Mom of Abby Butler, camper

I loved pretty much everything about the camp. The food was terrific, the activities were always fun, the instructors were wonderful. It seemed like everyone had fun.

Sheridan School Mountain Campus offers excellent programs. I give a 10 to the staff, the facilities and the food!

Christine Vallenga, teacher, Maret School

Sheridan School's Mountain Campus allows children to show skills they don't get to use in the classroom. New leadership skills are developed. Children can set goals and push themselves to try new challenges.
